GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Louis “Luke” Barnard, age 92, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013, in Stephenville, Texas. He was born on August 16, 1920, in Comanche, Texas, to Charles and Nellie (Kemp) Barnard. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II. On April, 10, 1954, he was united in marriage to Louise Finley in Brownwood, Texas. She preceded him in death on May 12, 2006. Luke was a truck driver. He is survived two daughters, Jaynie Partin and husband Dane of Gorman, Texas, and Nancy Gough of Ada, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeri Ann Cloud on February 23, 2000; one son, Danny Lynn Cloud on august 18, 1977; three brothers and one sister.
