She was born on September 5, 1927, in Texas, to Oliver Lofton (Davis). On June 2, 1951, she was united in marriage to Clayton Pete Wright in Coleman, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1979. She was devoted to her family and was a very special mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Ruby was a homemaker. She was a Penecostal. She is survived by a son: Johnny Wright of Comanche; a grandson: Robert Turner of Lampasas; a sister: Jean Rose of Cross Plains; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Dorothy Scheller; and both her parents.
