GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Sardis Cemetery in Comanche County, Texas M. L. “Red” Bradford, age 81, died on Sunday, February 20, 2011, in Dublin, Texas. He was born on December 15, 1929, in Iraan, Texas, to James Weldon Bradford and Eula Locket Hawkins McDonald. “Red” was a veteran of United States Army. On July 12, 1947, he was united in marriage to Mattie Mae Adams in Crane, Texas. For over fifteen years he was employed as a Tool Pusher and Consultant in Egypt and Dubai, and later worked nine years for Conoco Oil Company as a Drilling Superintendent. He was a member of Hasse Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mattie Bradford of Comanche; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Elena Bradford of McCamey; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeania and Willie Brinkman of Hasse and Patricia and Larry Bates of Norman, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, J. O. and Peggy Bradford of Proctor; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Bradford and Eula McDonald.
