Mackie M (Scott) Smith, age 78, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, in Comanche, Texas.
She was born on July 15, 1942, in Chouteau, Oklahoma, to Maxie and Ruby (O’Dell) Scott. On June 12, 1964, she was united in Marriage to Doyle Smith in Durant, Oklahoma. She was an outstanding and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved nothing more than being at home with her family. Mackie was very creative and was a talented artist. She loved to paint and enjoyed arts and crafts. She was a Baptist.
She s survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Doyle Smith of Comanche; sons, Allen Smith and wife Kari of Frisco and Eric Smith and wife Lisa of Mansfield; grandchildren: Connor Smith, McKenna Smith, Shelby Wooten, Erica Smith, and Lea Smith; great-granddaughter, Abigail Wooten; nephews, Greg Strunk of Copper Canyon, Tracy Strunk of Plano, and Marcus Sims of Duncanville; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lee Carol Scott and Mary Sims.
