LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at the home of Mary Silva, 700 W. College Avenue, Comanche. Manuel Hector Gutierrez, Sr., age 60, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014, in Brownwood, Texas. He was born on April 3, 1954, in Hondo, Texas to Joe and Stella (Duncan) Gutierrez. In December, 1972, he was united in marriage to Lenora Banda in Comanche. For twelve years Manuel was employed as a foreman at B & E Dairy in Newburg. He was a Pentecostal. He is survived by his wife, Lenora Gutierrez of Brownwood; three sons: Gilbert Gutierrez, Manuel Gutierrez, Jr., and Jason Gutierrez, Sr., all of Brownwood; ten grandchildren: Mercedes, Hector, Cyndal, Bianca, Cameron, Jason, Maricella, Brianna, Jayden, and Bella; three brothers: Roland Gutierrez and wife Gloria of San Antonio, Phillip Gutierrez and wife Delores of Fort Worth, and Arnold Gutierrez and wife Connie of Weslaco; two sisters, Melinda Reyna and husband Jesse of Saginaw, and Ingrid Lira and husband Johnny of Fort Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Stella Gutierrez; three brothers, Arthur Gutierrez, Jacob Gutierrez and Wilfred Gutierrez; and one sister, Elva Vera.
