Margaret Nell Hobbs Pfingsten, age 83, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017, in Brownwood, Texas. Margaret and her twin sister, Margery Dell, were born on March 30, 1934, in Littlefield, Texas, to George Milton and Dona Alice (Aber) Hobbs. She was the ninth child of ten children, growing up in Coyote, New Mexico. On October 3, 1952, she was united in marriage to Edward Lee Pfingsten in Las Cruces, New Mexico. They had been married for fifty-eight years when he preceded her in death on February 24, 2011. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. The first 20 years of her marriage she was a devoted Air Force wife and lived in numerous duty stations in the United States and England. Later, Margaret and Edward farmed and ranched in Comanche County. She is survived by seven children: Cynthia Robey, Donna Eaton and husband Robbie, Roy Pfingsten and wife Cheryl, Nelda Fisher and husband Scott, Joyce McGlothlin and husband Wayne, Mozelle Sattler and husband Nelson, and Rob Pfingsten and wife Keeda; twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two brothers, Lloyd Hobbs and Curtis Hobbs. Numerous nieces and nephews across Texas and New Mexico will miss their Aunt Bug. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Audra Lea Chasteen; two sisters, Margery Hobbs and Alda Bundick; and five brothers, Claude Hobbs, Wayne Hobbs, Will Hobbs, Floyd Hobbs and Donald Hobbs.
