FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Erath County. ROSARY: 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Comanche Funeral Home. VISITATION: Wednesday evening following the Rosary. SUPPER: Family will be served supper at St. Mary's Catholic Church following the funeral services. Maria Elena Duran, age 65, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013, at her home in Comanche County. She was born on August 8, 1947, in Mexico, to Ciro Ledesma and Trinidad (Vega) Ledesma. On April 20, 1966, she was united in marriage to Jesus Duran in Mexico. Maria Elena was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Comanche. She is survived by her husband, Jesus Duran; six sons, Guadalupe Duran and wife Juana, Jorge Duran and wife Teresa, Fermin Duran and wife Rosa, Roberto Duran and wife Maria, Javier Duran and wife Janet, and Jesus Duran, Jr. and wife Bianca; two daughters, Angelina Elizondo and husband Antonio, and Rosalba Ibarra and husband Esteban; twenty grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Guadalupe Ledesma, Antonio Ledesma, Cayetano Ledesma, and Cesario Ledesma; and three sisters, Carolina Ledesma, Ofelia Ledesma, and Carmen Ledesma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ciro Ledesma and Trinidad (Vega) Ledesma; and brother, Pablo Ledesma.
