FUNERAL SERVICES:  10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Comanche. BURIAL:  Oakwood Cemetery ROSARY:  6:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. VISITATION:  Family will meet with friends at Comanche Funeral Home from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 1. LUNCH:  Lunch for the family will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church following the funeral services.
Maria Piedad Esquivel, age 73, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on August 12, 1944, in El Clarin GTO, Mexico, to Guadalupe Hernandez and Sebastiana (Resendiz) Hernandez.  On  December 20, 1962  she was united in marriage to J. Amparo Esquivel.  Maria was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was kind, loving and hardworking and would help anyone who she thought needed her.  She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, J. Amparo Esquivel; two daughters, Micaela Delgado and husband Jose, and Sandra Guajardo and husband Ivan; five sons, Antonio Esquivel and wife Maria Guadalupe, Valentin Esquivel and wife Isabel, Damian Esquivel and wife Adriana, Juan Esquivel and wife Lidia, and Sabino Esquivel and wife Juana; twenty-one grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Mauro Hernandez and wife Carmela. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Sebastiana Hernandez, daughter, Martha Esquivel and son, Jose Esquivel.
