Marie Dudley

MEMORIAL SERVICE:  2:00 P.M. Friday, February 8, 2019, at Cowboy Church in Comanche (near the Rodeo Arena) Marie Dudley, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, in Copperas Cove, Texas. She was born on April 8, 1943, in Brownwood, Texas, to James Henry and Ruby Lois (Lewis) Lambert. On September 16, 1961, she was united in marriage to Willie Joe Dudley in Brownwood. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2017. Marie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. For many years she worked as a teacher’s aide and she was an excellent homemaker. She was a member of Cowboy Church in Comanche, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Hartsfield and husband James of Copperas Cove; son, George (Ricky) Dudley and wife Jessica of Brownwood; daughter, Tammi Stewart of Blanket; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Archie Lambert of Comanche; brother-in-law, Jack Allen Dudley and wife Betty of Brownwood; sisters-in-law, Ruth Dudley of Brownwood, Nelda Dudley of Comanche, and Peggy Dudley of Brownwood.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Lambert, and brother, James B. Lambert.
