Markus Lopez

MEMORIAL SERVICE:  11:00 A.M. Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the Comanche Community Center, 100 Indian Creek Drive, Comanche. Markus Lopez, age 57, died on Thursday, January 24, 2019, in Comanche. He was born on March 29, 1961, in Deleon, Texas to Mike Lopez, Sr. and Angelita “Vasquez” Lopez.  Markus owned “Salon Markus” for many years. He was infamous for his style and personality. He had clientele from all over and became a sought-after stylist.  He had flair and charisma and made everyone feel special. He is survived by his life partner, Bobby Cantrell of Comanche; brother, Mike Lopez and wife Janie of Blanket; nephews and niece, Mike Lopez III and wife Clarissa of Brownwood, Cynthia Torrez of Blanket, Jamie Lopez of Brownwood, Joshia Lopez of Blanket, Mark Lopez of Blanket, and Phillip Lopez of Blanket;  and fur babies, Bella and Armani. Markus was preceded in death by his parents, Mike Lopez, Sr. and Angelita “Vazquez” Lopez.
