VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until time to leave for the cemetery. Mary Jo Carter, age 89, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014, in Stephenville, Texas. She was born on March 1, 1925, in Comanche, Texas, to William E. and Mary E. (Mills) May. On March 3, 1943, she was united in marriage to Norris Carter in Comanche. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1985. Mary Jo was a homemaker. She is survived by her sister, Billie Clark of Sidney and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary May.
