MEMORIALS: Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, 1724 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, Virginia 22101. Mary Alice Davis, age 87, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011, in Potomac, Maryland. She was born on March 16, 1924, in Columbia, Mississippi, to Clyde A. and Ozella Eva (Morris) Calhoun. In her younger years she worked for the Odessa American newspaper. In January, 1945, she was united in marriage to Jada Davis. He preceded her in death in January, 1996. Mary Alice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Davis of McLean, Virginia, and Jeff Davis of Falls Church, Virginia; four grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah, Andrew and Madison; and three brothers, William Calhoun of Comanche, Don Edward Calhoun of Houston and John Clyde Calhoun of Houston.
