Mary McDonald, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, in Brown County, Texas. She was born on April 8, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Richard and Sophie Howell.  On June 9, 1956, she was united in marriage to Roy McDonald in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on February 15, 2003. Mary was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family, most importantly toward her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She lived a very servant life caring for others. In her spare time, she loved tending to her flowers and working in her garden. She was a member of Board Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Charles McDonald of Anson and Mark McDonald and wife Elda of Comanche; daughter, Linda Moore and husband Bill of Eastland; three grandchildren: Kenneth McDonald, Alaina McDonald and Shelbi Moore; five great-grandchildren: Dakoda, Joe, Katana, Abbygail, and Serenity; brother, Leon Howell and wife Viola of Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Orval Gene Spruill of Comanche, Texas. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis McDonald; her parents, Richard and Sophie Howell; and two brothers, Donald Howell and Paul Howell.
