She was born on June 22, 1922, in Burleson, Texas, to Olen Doggett and Emmie Hildebrand. On August 31, 1963, she was united in marriage to John B. McDougal in Gustine, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1974. On February 16, 1980, she was united in marriage to Roy Clinton Patterson in Comanche, Texas. She was a member of the Pettit Baptist Church. She was an assistant manager at Bill’s Dollar Store. She is survived by her husband, Roy Clinton Patterson of Gustine, Texas; stepson, Wayne Patterson of Cedar Creek Lake, Texas; one sister, Bonnie Short of Crowley, Texas; two grandchildren, Ben Patterson and Patrick Patterson; one great-grandchild, Jake Patterson.
