Nancy Adams

Nancy Sue Adams, 77 of Lubbock, Texas, died on Friday, May 16, 2014, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on November 13, 1936 in Comanche, Texas, to the late Herbert Lee and Alma (Wilson) Williams. She graduated from Lubbock High School in 1955 and attended Texas Tech. She was an assistant manager at several of Lubbock’s earliest local clubs. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Heath; daughter, Angela Sanders; son, Tim Adams; grandson, Michael Sanders and wife, Kara; great-grandson, Kaden Sanders, all of Lubbock; uncle, Dr. and Mrs. Brent Rauhut of Austin; aunt, Dorothy Wilson of Hurst, TX; numerous cousins She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Lee and Alma (Wilson) Williams and grandparents, all of Comanche, Texas; and by her former husband, Don Adams, of Lubbock, Texas. Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be at the graveside at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 23, at Indian Creek Cemetery
