Nelda Hart

Nelda Hart, age 84, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021, in Abilene, Texas

She was born on September 17, 1936, in Gustine, Texas, to Raymond and Doris (Perkins) Woolsey. On May 27, 1974, she was united in marriage to Billy Hart in Brady, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved nothing more than being with her family. Nelda was a gentle, loving person, and loved to needlepoint, crochet, and color. She was a homemaker and, for many years, she also worked as a Nurses Aide.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Hart of Comanche; daughter, Doris Steele and husband Kenneth of Proctor; sons, David Cotton and wife Margaret of Dublin, Billy Wayne Belyeu and wife Delores of Abilene; stepson, Joseph Paul Hart and friend Amy of Gustine; grandchildren: Stephanie, Maddison, Brenda, Melody and Richard; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren: and brother, Wayland Woolsey and wife Sandy of Sidney. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Doris Woolsey; daughter, Melissa Hart; granddaughter, Wendy Dawn Sigiman; and brother, Dale Woolsey.
