MEMORIALS:  Gustine United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 102, Gustine, Texas 76455, or a charity of choice.     Ola Maye Applewhite, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, in Stephenville, Texas.    She was born on May 17, 1933, in Energy, Texas to Gus and Ola Sarah (Horner) Rudd.  On August 31, 1952, she was united in marriage to McDonald “Mac” Applewhite in Gustine.  He preceded her in death on July 27, 2010.  She worked as a bank teller in Gustine, and later for Higginbotham Bros. in Comanche, Texas Instruments in Richardson and Comanche Electric Co-op from which she retired after many years of service.  Maye was member of Gustine United Methodist Church where she was a leader of the MYF and church pianist for thirty years.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society.   She is survived by her sister, Guyla Davis of Stephenville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
