Pat Mcdonald

Patsy Irene Dumas McDonald of Hasse, Texas passed away Monday November 13, 2023 in Stephenville, Texas. Patsy was born January 10, 1943 in Dublin, Texas to Orville Dumas and Audrey Brewer Dumas. Patsy lived majority of her life in Comanche County, Texas. On September 21, 1958 Patsy united in marriage to Hershel McDonald at the Hasse Baptist Church. Patsy and Hershal resided in Hasse, Texas.

Patsy spent her years working as a seamstress, housemaker and home health aide. Patsy enjoyed her weekly visits to the beauty shop and years ago enjoy her morning coffee sessions at jack and Jill Donuts in Comanche. Patsy enjoyed her family, loved spending holidays cooking for her family and in her final years was not afraid to tell anyone what was on her mind, from getting in fist fights to smuggling alcohol into the nursing home, Patsy truly lived life to the fullest.

Patsy is survived by her daughter, Debbie McDonald Ray and husband Albert of Stephenville, Texas. Her son Glynn McDonald of Comanche, Texas. Grandchild April Martin and husband Cory of Comanche, Texas, Chad McDonald and wife Jordyn of Comanche, Texas, Kelcie Ray of Comanche, Texas and Cameron Ray and wife Kiela of Lingleville, Texas. Patsy is also survive by six great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Patsy was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Hershel, her parents Orville and Audrey Dumas, her sister Glenda Elliot, her daughter in law Shala McDonald as well as numerous brother and sister in laws.
