MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 9, 2017, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. Judge Paul Heath Till, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in Comanche County, Texas. Judge Paul Heath Till was born on November 6, 1930 in Birmingham Alabama, the son of Heath and Paula Till. However, he was mostly raised by his Grandparents in Butler, Alabama. His family moved to Houston, Texas, in 1945 where he attended San Jacinto High School. He fell in love with his high school sweetheart Jacquelyn Head. Judge Till graduated high school in 1949 and then married his beloved Jacquelyn on December 21, 1951. He attended the University of Houston receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Geology in 1955. He completed his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law 1971 and was elected as Justice of the Peace for Harris County in 1974. Judge Till bought a working ranch in Comanche County, moving there full time when he retired. He loved this area for its natural beauty and remoteness. Judge Paul Heath Till passed on to glory on May 31, 2017 after grieving the loss of his beloved Jacquelyn for the last two years. He leaves behind his three sons and their wives; Christopher and Misti Till of Comanche, Keith and Dawn Till of Richmond, and Jesse and Anne Till of Crosby. He had five granddaughters and two grandsons: Catherine and Chris David of Austin, Jennifer and Jason Henry of Eastland, Melissa and Jeremy Lunsford of Jersey Village, Alyson and Joshua Posey of Houston, Clay and Chena Till of Denton, Matthew Till of Comanche, and Jesslyn Till of Comanche; and thirteen great-grandchildren and growing.
