FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Hasse Baptist Church. BURIAL: Newberry Cemetery near Weatherford. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Hasse Baptist Church following the church service. He was born on April 8, 1941, in Monahans, Texas, to Herbert E. and Voila (Ricketson) Pearce. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. On January 29, 1998, Philip was united in marriage to Alma Sasing in the Philippines. For many years he worked in the oil fields and he owned and operated a business in West Texas, buying and selling oil field equipment. He was a good man with a kind and loving heart and was beloved by his family. He is survived by his wife, Alma Pearce of Comanche; two daughters, Cynthia Elder and her husband Barry of Weatherford, and Debra Roy and her husband DeWayne of Euless; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Herbert Pearce and his wife, Irenea of Hasse; He was preceded in Death by one brother and one sister.
