Randi Mcginnis

Randi Lee McGinnis was born on August 31, 1979 in Brownwood, TX to parents Tommy and Linda Lane McGinnis. She graduated from Gustine High School in 1978. She spent her school years showing livestock and participating in FFA activities. Randi was a member of the Gustine Church of Christ.

Randi was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 21. Her life was restricted to living in a nursing home for 17 years. She was very active at bingo games and art activities provided by the homes she lived in.

Randi passed away on July 22, 2024 at the age of 44. She is survived by her daughter, Hope Elizabeth of Comanche; her parents, Linda and Tommy McGinnis of Comanche; her sister, Staci Murphy and her husband Robert of Gustine; nephews, Morgan Murphy and Ryan Murphy of Gustine. She is also survived by her grandfather, Bill Lane of Hamilton.


A memorial service will be held at the Gustine Church of Christ on August 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
