GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 9, 2015, at Union Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, at the funeral home. LUNCH: Family will have lunch at First Baptist Church of Gustine Fellowship Hall following the funeral service. Randy Don Kite, age 32, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015, in Comanche County, Texas. He was born on April 23, 1983, in Brownwood, Texas, to Cecil Clarence, Kite, Sr., and Betty Marie (Davis) Kite Roy. Randy was a devoted father. For sixteen years he was a roofer and owned and operated Kites Roofing & More. He was a Volunteer for Gustine Fire Department. Randy was a Baptist. He is survived by his daughter, Vada Marie Kite of Gustine; son, Randy Don Kite, Jr.; daughter, Cloey Pruitt of Gustine; special friend, Jessica Cadena of Gustine; parents, Marie and Ace Roy of Gustine; father, Cecil Kite, Sr., of Leander; brothers, Cecil Kite, Jr. of Leander, Alvin Kite of Mason City, Iowa, Joshua Roy of Proctor, David Roy of Belmont, New Hampshire, Benjamin Roy of Manchester, New Hampshire, Alexander Roy of Fort Worth, Joseph Jacobs of Boston, Massachusetts, and Michael Bergerman of Iowa; and sister, Shannon Bergerman of Iowa. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kylee Ann Kite; maternal grandfather, Alvin Kite; maternal grandmother, Betty Jane Mireles; paternal grandfather, Hubert William Kite; and paternal grandmother, Helen Louise Kite.
