Raymond Lee Miller of Comanche, Texas passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024, at the age of 69 while surrounded by close family members. He was born on June 28, 1955, in Pampa, Texas to the late Gordon and Velda Miller. A devoted husband, father, and PawDad, Raymond enjoyed spending time with family. Whether it was fishing off the shore of his favorite lake, grilling a meal for family and friends, or taking a trip to beautiful new places, Raymond found peace and joy in these simple pleasures.
Raymond's true passion was travel, especially cruising. For more than 18 years, he and his beloved wife, Susan, embarked on countless cruises together, exploring distant shores and making lifelong memories. Their shared love of the open sea and discovering new places became a defining part of their relationship. Raymond and Susan's adventures were not just about the destinations, but about the joy they found in each other's company, as they marveled at sunsets and visited new places all over the world.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Velda Miller. He is survived by his devoted wife of 18 years, Susan; his children, Chad (Jami) Miller and Amy (L.D.) Crawford, Mary (Nate) Snyder and J.R. (Kelli) Dunn; his grandchildren, Lane (Tori) Crawford, Lance (Rebecca) Crawford, Logan (Bethany) Crawford, Cameron (Katy) Miller, Aidan Crawford, Bailee Miller, Pyzlee Snyder, Lyla Dunn; great-granddaughter Braelyn; his siblings, Gordon (Terry) Miller, Johnny (Jeanna) Miller, Connie (Robert) Johnson, Mary (Walter) Tyler, Mark (Sandra) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Raymond's legacy will live on in the countless memories of laughter, love, and shared moments of joy that he left behind.
