FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 27, 2017, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church following the funeral services. Ricardo, Gutierrez, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in Abilene, Texas. He was born on Monday, July 14, 1952, in Devine, Texas, to Felix Gutierrez, Sr., and Amelia (Garcia) Gutierrez. On July 29, 1972, he was united in marriage to Lenora Medina and remained married for 44 years. Before retiring, Ricardo was employed as a machine operator at Durham Pecan Co. in Comanche. He was a hardworking man, a loving, caring husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Lenora Gutierrez of Comanche; daughters, Annie Gutierrez of Comanche and Rosemary Gutierrez of Dallas; sons Ricardo Gutierrez and wife Sharon of Round Rock and Lorenzo Gutierrez of Round Rock; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sisters: Alma Villanueva of Comanche, Lucy Medina and husband Rudy of Gustine, Eva Morin of Comanche, Olga Suniga and husband Florintino of Gatesville, and Betty Martinez and husband Don of Comanche; brothers, Noah Gutierrez and wife Lupe of Sidney, Paul Gutierrez and wife Tomasita of Comanche, Raymond Gutierrez and wife Esmeralda of Gustine, and Adam Gutierrez and wife Jamie of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews.
