Richmond aka Batman Andrews was called home on July 17th.
He was born on July 23, 1960. Richmond was a loving and kind man. He was so funny. He was definitely the ice breaker in any situation. Richmond loved his children more than anything. He loved the Texas Longhorns, and he was a lifelong Comanche Indian fan. He was definitely an outdoorsman. He loved to fish. Richmond was a man who loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Richmond touched everyone he came into contact within his life. He was a blessing. He lived life on his terms.
Richmond is survived by his 2 daughters Felicia Andrews, Tammy Andrews, and 1 son Richard Andrews. He has several grandkids. Aspen Crouch, Justice Terril, Logan Powell, Austin and wife Haley Smith, Aaron Smith, Andrew Smith, Jimmy Wiley, Dominic and Dagen Andrews. He also has several great grandchildren, Abel Crouch, Jonah Smith, Ayrann Smith, and Nevaeh Sanchez Terrill. He is survived by his sister and best friend Denise Linville and husband Jesse, Michelle Key and husband Sylvester. He has several cousins, nieces nephews and numerous friends that he loved dearly. He will be missed by so many.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Ailene and Herb Kennedy, Grandparents Roy and Lois (Hancock) Andrews, Sisters Stephanie Guidry and Renee Rhyne, Uncles Roy "JR", Ray and Dewey Andrews, Aunts Novella Cowan and Vickie Andrews. Pall bearers will be Aspen Crouch, Justice Terrill, Jason Andrews, Jake Kennedy, Larry Rodgers, and Scott Cowan. Honorary bearer Casey Wysong.
Although we mourn deeply, we ask that you join us in celebration of Richmond's life.
Viewing/Visitation will be held Thursday, July 20th 6-8pm while services will be held Friday, July 21 at 2pm at the Comanche Funeral Home. He will be buried in Proctor Cemetery next to his beloved mother.
It's hard to sum up this man in a paragraph, so much to say! We ask that if anyone wants to share any stories or pictures of Richmond, you get up and do so... Richmond you will be forever missed. We see you in everything we do. The legend, the myth, the man! LONG LIVE BATMAN!!
