Ricky Cotten

Ricky Lynn Cotten, age 70, of Hasse, Tx, passed away on December 15, 2024 in Brownwood, Tx. Ricky was born on November 07, 1954 to Charlie Cotten and Nell Necessary in Hasse, Tx. As a kid, Ricky worked for the county and would mow cemeteries around Comanche County. Ricky was a hard worker as a pipe fitter for many years and served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1977. He had a knack for gardening and could grow almost anything. He loved watching western movies and could talk to anyone he met as he never met a stranger he came across.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Renee Cotten; daughter, Tonia Riddle; sister, Catherine Coulter; brother, Willie Cotten; numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Nell (Necessary) Cotten; brothers, Valient Neal, Dearl Ray, Ronnie Johnson, Larry Cotten, Leon Cotton; sister, Frances Johnson; sons, Ricky Lynn Cotten Jr. and Charlie Dale Cotten.
