“Bob” Robert Lynn Moore passed away peacefully in Comanche, Texas on February 12, 2025.
He was born in Gorman, Texas on September 8, 1944, to Harland and Zuleam Moore of Beattie, Texas.
He went to school in Beattie, Texas, and graduated from Travis High School in Austin, Texas. His first job was as a shoe salesman at Scarborough Dept. Store and truck driver. He loved fishing. He was loved by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his partner, Mary Hays of Proctor, Texas; his sister, Beth Forehand and husband, Foy, of Colorado City, Texas; daughters, Katrina Moore Allen and husband, Walter, of Hico, Texas, and Teresa Loveday of Elgin, Texas; stepdaughters, Becky Baugus and husband, Bruce, of Stephenville, Texas and Sue Riili and husband, Johnny, of Missouri; grandchildren, Joshua Hatley and wife, Crystal, of Hico, Texas, Ty Atchley of Stephenville, Texas, Brook Atchley of Granbury, Texas, Richard (Ricky) Good and partner, Megan, of Lexington, Texas, Allona Fortenberry and husband, Travis, of McDade, Texas, Allisha Stephens and husband, Kevin, of Stephenville, Texas and Matt Baugus of Stephenville, Texas; great-grandchildren, Joshua Hatley, Trista Hatley and Hunter Hatley, Alissa Watkins, Luke Watkins, Jayden Atchley, Jaileigh Good, Nevaeh Good, Magnolia Good, Maileigh Good, Theo Fortenberry, and Mavis Fortenberry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harland and Zuleam Moore; his son, JN Moore; stepson, Doug Bowman; great-grandparents, JN and Leona Wright and Jarrell and Jonnie Moore.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Western Hills Nursing Home in Comanche, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Comanche Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Tom Moore officiating.
