FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County. ROSARY AND VISITATION: Rosary will be at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 4, at the funeral home, followed by visitation. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Comanche FOLLOWING THE FUNERAL SERVICES. Rodolfo Talamantez, Jr., age 73, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016, in McCulloch County, Texas. He was born on May 24, 1942, in Jimenez, Coahuila, Mexico, to Rodolfo Talamantez, Sr., and Guadalupe (Faz) Talamantez. For thirty-eight years he worked as a landscaper for Triple R. Trees in Comanche, Texas. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Comanche. He is survived by his former wife, Maria Talamantez of Comanche; son, Ray Talamantez of Comanche; daughter, Nellia Talamantez of Georgia; two grandchildren, Gabriella Vara of Georgia and Ryan Fizer of Hasse; six siblings, Elvira Marin of Del Rio, Elsira Reyes of Hasse, Rosantina Elizondo of Comanche, Jose Antonio Talamantez of Mexico, Eva Rodriguez of Early, and Isreal Talamantez of Del Rio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo Talamantez. Sr. and Guadalupe Talamantez;one son, Ruben Talamantez; and two brothers, Mateo Talamantez and Carlos Talamantez.
