Ronald Matthews

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Evergreen Cemetery in Gustine. LUNCH: Family will have lunch at the home of Robert and Barbara Matthews, 210-1/2 S. Austin, Comanche. Ronald Paul “Chalky” Matthews, age 62, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on December 19, 1948, in Gorman, to Robert Gus and Clarice (Couch) Matthews. After fifteen years of service, Chalky retired from Delta Oil Drilling where he worked as a Tool Pusher. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Barbara Matthews of Comanche; stepdaughter, Marcy Adams of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Gus and Clarice Matthews.
