Today we celebrate the life of Ronald Glenn Steele, born to Neverson Dean
Steele and Eloise Steele 12 September 1945 in Abilene, Texas.
Ron passed away 23 January 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by family and loved ones.
Ron is survived by his wife Brenda, 2 children Melissa and Ronald JR,
3 grandchildren Micheal, Alyssa, and Robyn as well as 6 great grandchildren.
SSGT Steele unwaveringly served our country for 26 years. 6 years in the Army National Guard and 20 years in the United States Air Force. SALUTE.
After retiring from the USAF Ron worked for the Big State Auto Auction in Abilene until he and Brenda moved to Comanche where he went to work for Clemmons, which eventually became Bayer Ford and Bayer Chevrolet until he fully retired.
You are missed. We are comforted knowing you are with the Lord.
Memorial service will be 11:00 AM at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Comanche. Lunch will be served after the service.
