He was born on August 12, 1949 in Gorman, Texas, to James A. and Earline (Trulove) Cox. Ronnie was a draftsman for Ross Manufacturing. He is survived by one daughter, Misti Penn of Brownwood; three grandchildren, Courtney, Cassandra, and Bryan; two great-grandchildren, Kayden and Carley; and his mother, Earline Bagley of Comanche. He was preceded in death by one brother.
