Ronnie Harvick

Ronnie Eugene Harvick, age 69, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018, in Hamilton, Texas. He was born on May 15, 1949, in Comanche, Texas, to E. W. and Lois (Ripley) Harvick.  He loved his children and grandchildren above all else.  Ronnie was a self employed dairy farmer and, in fact, loved all things to do with farming.  He was never happier than when driving tractors, or admiring God’s nature, his crops, and farming equipment.  He was a talented musician who could imitate Elvis better than anyone else around.  Most people considered their older years as their “golden years”, but Ronnie’s golden years were his youthful years and he never tired of talking about those wonderful days.  He had a great sense of humor, which sometimes showed at the most inconvenient of times. He loved old people and was, himself, an old soul.  He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his children, Scotty Paul, Janet Dawn and Jacklyn Megan; grandchildren, Brooke, Jonas and Dylan; brother, Kenneth Harvick and wife Vickie of Comanche; sisters, Dyanna Thedford and husband Macky of Gustine, and Cristi Escobar and husband Juan of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Lois Harvick.
