VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Saturday, May 14, from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Ronnie Johnson, age 68, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016, in Comanche, Texas. He was born November 20, 1947, in Comanche, to Robert and Nell (Necessary) Johnson. On January 20, 1972, he was united in marriage to Dessie Sutton in Fort Worth. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2007. For most of his life Ronnie worked as a pipe fitter in the Austin Area. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his son, Oscar Romo of Lampasas; other children, Christy, Nicky, Joey, Valerie, Eric, Melissa, and Michael; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ricky Cotten and wife Renee of Comanche and Leon Cotten and wife Teddy of Carlton; sister, Catherine Coulter of Abilene; brothers, Willie Cotten of Round Rock, Larry Cotten and wife Sherrie of Round Rock, and Robert Johnson of Fort Worth; sister, Donna Green and husband Billy of Azle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
