Rosa Terrell, 77, of Comanche, Texas, died on Saturday, July 12, 2014, in Comanche. She was born on August 3, 1936. in Corpus Christi, Texas to Roy Ashford and Grace (Montgomery) Ashford. On July 1, 1950 she was united in marriage to Hugh Terrell in Corpus Christi. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1993. Rosa was a homemaker. She was a church member and was very active in church activities. She loved to crochet and made many beautiful things for her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook, a wonderful and loving mother and a faithful friend. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Rogers; sons: Kenneth Terrell, Carl Terrell, Alvin Terrell and Joseph Terrell; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Richard Ashford; sister-in-law Peggy Ashford; nieces and nephews: Brenda & Carlos Woolsey, Suereina Ashford, Kristen Ashford, and Richard Ashford; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Hugh Terrell, Jr.,p arents Roy & Grace Ashford; son-in-law Tommy Rogers; brothers: LeeRoy Ashford, James Ashford, Ervin Ashford and Earl Ray Ashford; sister Martha Fox; great-grandson Leland Maughan, Jr.; mother-in-law Mary Terrell and daughter-in-law Lynn Hair.
