FUNERAL SERVICE:  2:00 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2018, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL:  Pendergrass Cemetery VISITATION:  Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Rosalie Franklin McDaniel, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, in Hillsboro, Texas. She was born on August 22, 1924, in Comanche County, Texas, to James Leslie and Audrey Mae (Rice) Franklin.  On December 19, 1943, she was united in marriage to Marion Johnson McDaniel in Sidney, Texas.  He preceded her in death on November 7, 2014.  Rosalie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker.  For twenty years she worked as School Secretary for Bula ISD and Pep ISD.  Rosalie was a Baptist. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Peterson and husband Morris of Hillsboro; sons, Craig McDaniel of Louisville, Colorado and Gordon McDaniel of Sidney; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Chupp of De Leon; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded by two sons, David McDaniel and Dwight McDaniel; granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Peterson; brothers, James Leslie Franklin and Thomas Franklin; and sister, Joyce Hodges.
