Roy Lee Graham, age 76, passed away on Wednesday June 12, 2024, at the Harris Methodist H-E-B Hospital and entered his heavenly home to be with Jesus.
Roy Lee was born in Gorman, Texas on June 17, 1947 to Autry and Eva Mae Graham. He was united in marriage to Judy Scott on January 15, 1972 in Comanche, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Army for three years, of those 18 months were in Vietnam as a Helicopter Gunner. Roy Lee left the Army as a Sargeant. He proceeded to fulfill a career as a pipe fitter with the UA 669, and he retired as a journeyman pipe fitter in 2002. He continued his connections to the many colleagues and friends he made during his time as a pipe fitter by attending monthly breakfasts following his retirement.
He loved working on the farm, playing golf, hunting, fishing and keeping his lawn in pristine condition. He loved all types of flowers and maintained a beautiful yard as a show of his care and dedication to his home.
Roy Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Autry Allen Graham and Eva Mae George Graham; brother, Allen Ray Graham; sister, Judith Carol Bingham; mother-in-law, Neppie Scott and father-in-law, Andy Scott; brothers-in-law, Jerry Scott and Reggie Scott and nephew, Michael Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Judy Scott Graham; sons, Christopher Lee Graham, Mir McQueary Graham and Kevin Scot Graham, Gina Rainwater; granddaughters, Anabel Leigh Graham and Kinsley Rain Graham; sister, Lana Smith; sister-in-law, Laquita Scott; brother-in-law, Dendy Scott, Nena Carroll Gore; nephews, Mark Smith and Steve Brownlee; nieces, Donna Smith Bajek, Tina Bingham Voorhies, Debbie Bingham Brown, Vicki Scott Jenkins, Katrina Brownlee Fiest, Kim Scott Delz, Sharla Scott Wooten, Jill Scott Davis, Jana Scott Caldwell; and many great nephews and nieces.
The pallbearers will be Dendy Scott, Doug Bowden, Mark Smith, Glenn Delz, Terry Wooten, Scott Delz, Taylor Delz and Steve Brownlee.
