Ruby Livingston

Ruby Jo Livingston, age 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 19, 2020, in De Leon, Texas.

She was born on January 7, 1926, in Dublin, Texas, to Blake and Eula (Morris) McCoy. On October 24, 1946, she was united in marriage to Judge Johnny B. Livingston in Dublin, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2009. Ruby was a devoted wife and an awesome mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She loved her family and enjoyed watching kids for others. She was an artist and a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Paul Livingston and wife Diane of Comanche; a brother, John McCoy; a son-in-law, Tom Tackett; five grandchildren, Heath Tackett, Christopher Tackett, Nicole Krause, Cari O’Dell, and Sloane Livingston; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blake and Eula (Morris) McCoy; a daughter, Vicki Lynn Tackett; a sister, Wanda Weiskopf; and three brothers, Paul McCoy, Dale McCoy, and Lynn McCoy.
