Scotty Morris

Scotty Morris, age 77, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, in Comanche, Texas.

Scotty was self-employed as a racehorse jockey for many years. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by his son, John Scott Morris and wife Libby of Early, Texas; grandson, Abe Morris and wife, Morgan of Early, Texas; great-grandson, Wyatt Morris; sister, Judy Morris Warren; nephew, Travis Johnston and wife, Becky; niece, Susan Riley and husband, Randy; great nephews, Cutter Johnston, Rodney Johnston and James Riley; great nieces, Shandale Riley, Dylan Riley and Brandi Riley; cousins, Barbara Stevens of Ft. Worth, Texas, George Morris of Abilene, Texas, and Roy Morris Jr. of Abilene, Texas; beloved friend, Margaret Granger of China Springs, Texas; and sister-in-law, Glenda Morris.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oral D. Morris and mother, Ona Udelle Morris; brother, Jerry Morris; grandson, Jeren Morris; and aunt and uncle, Reid and Billie Merrill.
