Sheila Henry

November 3, 1954 — April 6, 2025

Sheila Kaye Henry, (Davis), of Comanche, Texas passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 70. Born on November 3, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, Sheila lived a life marked by dedication to her family, her work, and the many people whose lives she touched along the way.

Sheila spent over three decades as Office Manager for Dr. Robert H. Johnson DDS in Brownwood, Texas. Her role extended far beyond administrative duties-she was an integral part of the office, performing countless behind-the-scenes tasks with care and precision. Her time there was not just a job but a cherished chapter of her life where she formed deep friendships and found a second family among her colleagues.

Family was central to Sheila's world. She is survived by her daughter Brandi Hay and husband Clay of Lago Vista, Texas; her son Jason Elliott and wife Brittany of Blackwell, Texas; her sister Denise Hidrogo and husband Andy of San Antonio, Texas; and her brother Michael Davis and wife Shondra of Comanche, Texas. She also leaves behind three beloved grandchildren-Brooklyn Elliott, Nolan Rogers, and Courtney Hay-and two great-grandchildren who brought boundless joy to her days: Wesley Hay and Wade Hay. Her nieces Mariah Rodriguez (Brown) and husband Joseph, Mary Kate Brown, and Madison Davis also held special places in her heart.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents Wade and Hazel Davis, brother in law Jim Brown, and by her beloved husband Rick Henry.

Affectionately known as "MeMe" by her grandchildren, Sheila embraced this role with warmth and enthusiasm. Her love for them was evident in every moment they shared together. Whether tending to flowers in her yard or creating floral arrangements-a pastime she had always enjoyed-Sheila found beauty in nurturing both plants and people. In later years, she discovered a surprising passion for professional hockey, which became a source of excitement that she loved sharing with friends and coworkers alike. Above all, some of her most cherished moments were when the family would come together for a "meal".

Per her request, there will be no formal services but rather a visitation to honor Sheila's life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Comanche Funeral Home located at 411 W Grand Ave., Comanche, Texas 76442.

Sheila will be remembered for her kindness, caring spirit, and unwavering commitment to bringing happiness to those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
