Oak Street, Comanche, Texas 76442; or a charity of choice. Shirley (Hilliard) Mazurek, age 90, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on December 4, 1924, in Comanche County, Texas, to Wesley W. and Lella (Ripley) Hilliard. On December 11, 1948, she was united in marriage to Thomas Charles Mazurek, Jr., in Brownwood. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2006. Shirley was a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a gentle, caring woman, and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by two sons, Charles Mazurek and wife Patti of Comanche, and Wayne Mazurek and wife Mary Beth of Sidney; one daughter, Carol Haggard of Gustine: five Grandchildren, Suzette Woerner and husband Shaun of Waco, Chance Mazurek and wife Kendall of San Antonio, Kameron Mazurek of Lubbock, Carly Mazurek of Sidney, and Robin Keith of Comanche; three great-grandchildren, Jackie Keith of Comanche, Logan Mazurek of San Antonio, and Penn Mazurek of San Antonio; sister, Jo Zilmer and husband Norman of Mahomet, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Josh Mazurek; son-in-law, Chandler Haggard; parents, Wesley and Lella Hilliard; and brother, Merle Hilliard.
