FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 A.M. Saturday, May13, 2017, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Taylor's Chapel Cemetery VISITATION: Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. UNTIL 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 12, 2017, at the funeral home. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Sidney Baptist Church following the funeral services. MEMORIALS: If desired memorials may be made to Scott & White Memorial Hospital or a charity of choice. Shirley Sue Vineyard, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, in Temple, Texas. She was born on February 5, 1940, in Sidney, Texas to Alfred Milton and Pauline Gladys (Markham) Taylor. On June 6, 1959, she was united in marriage to Merle Dean Vineyard in De Leon. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1999. Shirley was a homemaker. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her daughters, Deana Sue Millican of Sidney and Nancy Tierney and husband David of Temple; sons, William Alan Vineyard, and Darron Scott Vineyard and wife Lucretia of Sidney; grandchildren: Vernon, Caleb, Taylor, Alex, Crystal, Donna, and Casie; and great-grandchildren: Mayleen, Alora, Sidney, and Summer. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Nelda Cramer, Martha Gaines and Christine Baxter; and brother, Joe Lee Taylor.
