FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, August 26, 2010, at the Graveside. BURIAL: Stag Creek Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. LUNCH: Sidney Baptist Church following the funeral service. Stanley Gene Bennett, age 49, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010, at Comanche County Medical Center, Comanche County, Texas. He was born on February 12, 1961, in Tyler, Texas, to Daniel Gene and Deloros (Leach) Bennett. On August 13, 1999, he was united in marriage to Robyn Nichols in Stephenville. Stanley worked as a truck driver employed by A. O. Easley for thirty years. He was a veteran and retired from the U. S. Army National Guard in 2001, after twenty years of service. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Robyn Bennett of Sidney; daughters, Ashlee Curry and Kimberly Maelena Curry both of Sidney; mother, Deloros Bennett of Sherman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terrell and Deborah Bennett of Gustine, James Bennett of Sherman, Freddy and Debbie Bennett of Comanche, Eddie and Brenda Bennett of Sidney, Wayne Bennett of Sherman, and Weldon and Vicki Bennett of Sherman; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Gene Bennett, and sister, Brenda Joyce Williams.
