Susan Miller

Susan Marie Miller of Comanche, TX passed away peacefully on December 2nd, 2024, at the age of 69 at her home. She was born on November 6th, 1955, in Milford, Delaware to the late Harry Russell Strong, Jr. and Dorothy Mae McNutt. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and Grammy Sue, Susan loved her family with an unbreakable strength.

Susan loved traveling and cruising the world with her late husband of 18 years, Raymond Miller. They traveled all over the world and had some of their best memories visiting distant shores. She loved gardening, reading, sharing recipes, cooking good food, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Russell Strong, Jr. and Dorothy Mae McNutt, brother, Harry Strong, sister Debbie Strong, sister Jean McDonald, nephew Justin McDonald, and grandson Rylee Snyder. She is survived by her children, Chad (Jami) Miller, Amy (L.D.) Crawford, Sara (Paul) Peters, Mary (Nate) Snyder, and JR (Kelli) Dunn; her grandchildren, Jade Peters, Jude Peters, Lane (Tori) Crawford, Lance (Rebecca) Crawford, Logan (Bethany) Crawford, Cameron (Katy) Miller, Aidan Crawford, Bailee Miller, Pyzlee Snyder, and Lyla Dunn; great-granddaughter Braelyn; her siblings, Julie Bissell and Greg Strong, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Susan’s legacy will live on in the immeasurable love and strength she shared and gave to others. She will be sorely missed but will forever be remembered for the ways she persevered, loved, and made life better for those around her. May she rest in peace, forever in the presence of God, and with those she loved who have gone before her.
