Syble Eva Davis Greenway, age 94, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Comanche County Medical Center, Comanche County, Texas. She was born on December 12, 1915, in Springtown, Oklahoma, to Henry Dow Minyard and Dessie Lee Minyard. Syble worked as a Food Service Director at Memorial Hospital in Beeville, Texas, and Marion County Hospital in Jefferson, Texas, until retirement. She was a member of the Brownwood Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is survived by her children, Leo Alvin Davis of Needville, Texas; Kerry R. Davis of Woodland Park, Colorado; and Susan Greenway Stepp of Comanche, Texas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Wendy Davis Rohde of Pine Buff, WY; James A. Davis, III, of Grand Junction, CO; Deborah Davis of Longmont, CO; Ron Davis of Greeley, CO; Kim Davis Fredericks of Katy, TX; Dusty Davis of Plano, TX; Shelly Davis Gernant of Houston, TX; Misty Michelle Davis of Colorado Springs, CO; Kerry Richard Davis, Jr., of Woodland Park, CO; Tina Davis Simmons of Dalhart, TX; Shawnna Stepp Koda of The Colony, TX; Shelley Stepp Wilgus of Colleyville, TX; and Shayla Stepp Friesen of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James A. Davis and William D. Greenway, and by her son James A. Davis, Jr.
