Sylvia Moya

As a beloved child of God and follower of Jesus Christ, Sylvia Moya passed from this life and entered into the presence of her Lord on February 6, 2024 at the age of 72.

She graduated from Comanche High School and received her business degree from Tarleton State University. Sylvia worked for Austin ISD for 30 years, retiring in 2006. After, her retirement, she began travelling all over the world, such as Greece, Italy, Europe and various other places. One of her favorite places to visit was Hawaii.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents Simon and Amalia Moya; and brother, Randy Moya.
Sylvia is survived by her brother, Ricky Moya (Susan) of Comanche, 5 sisters, Debra Wilkinson (Clint) of Willis, TX, Janie Hamilton (Rick) of Austin, Molly Hidrogo (Joe) of Fort Worth TX, Alma Cox (Charles) of Robinson TX, and Cindy Moya of Temple, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Sylvia will be at Comanche Funeral Home 411 West Grand Ave. Comanche, TX, 76442 on February 17, 2024 at 2:00 with an interment to follow in Garden of Memory Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sylvia’s honor to the charity of your own choice.
