VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until funeral time. Thomas C. Garrett, Jr., age 65, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013, in Comanche County, Texas. He was born on May 5, 1947, in Comanche, Texas, to Thomas C. Garrett, Sr. and Serrah I. (Dement) Garrett. On October 5, 1966, he was united in marriage to Shirley Favors in Comanche. Thomas was a farmer and rancher. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Garrett of Sidney; sons, Tommy Garrett and wife Jerrilynn of Decatur, and Daniel Garrett of Gatesville; four grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Chace, and Tucker; sister, Bonnie V. Bachelor of Van Alstyne; and several nieces and nephews all of Rankin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas C. Garrett, Sr. and Serrah Garrett; and brother, Sherwin Evans Garrett and wife Barbara.
