FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Cowboy Cemetery in McCulloch County. Thomas Andrew “Andy” Harrington, age 84, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013, in Brownwood, Texas. He was born on December 4, 1928, in Brown County, Texas, to David L. and Mary Louise (Sorrells) Harrington. On July 2, 1950, he was united in marriage to Mary Jo Kimbrough in Brady, Texas. Andy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a rancher. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Harrington of Comanche; son, Merlin Harrington, Sr., and wife Lindy of Rochelle; daughter, Deborah Hall and husband Jim of San Antonio; son Joe Harrington and wife Deborah of Comanche; daughter, Velinda Bolen and husband Kyle of McCamey; six grandchildren, Darla Munoz, Merlin Harrington, Jr., Mark Hall, Amanda Hall, Cymbur Tisdale, and Bryne Bolen; five great-grandchildren, Santos Munoz IV, Elias Munoz, Reid Harrington, Landree Harrington, and Hollis Tisdale; brother, D.L. Harrington of Odessa; and two sisters, Emilie Faye Estess of Brownwood and Nell Carter of Lubbock. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Medley and Cleo Simpson.
