Toni Smith

We celebrate the life of Toni Carolyn Morrison Smith, age 81, who went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2022 in Corinth, TX.

Toni was born December 27, 1940 in Brownwood, Texas. She then lived in Galena Park, Texas and graduated from Lamar Tech University with a degree in education. Toni was an amazing and driven woman who passionately loved others as a dedicated mother, teacher, and grandmother.

She blossomed as a smart and creative entrepreneur who positively impacted thousands of lives through her vision and mission of creating The Children’s Learning Station, a Christ-centered, safe, and loving private school for pre-K through third grade. She provided a nurturing home-away-from-home for families and their children across three decades.

She is preceded in death by her great grandparents (Tula Ross and Sarah Hannah Caroline Coker Ross) and Bertha B. Ross (her grandparent and mother of Iva B. Morrison) and her parents (Doyle and Iva B. Morrison) and is survived by her loving sister (Lyndall Morrison Vaughn) and her family, including her two sons (Kyl and Shawn Smith) who love and adore her and four grandchildren (Kenah, Samantha, Kylan and Spencer Smith).

Toni blessed those around her for more than 81 years. In honoring her wishes, she will be laid to rest at Pendergrass Cemetery in Sidney, Texas by a gathering of close family. She is deeply missed and eternally loved.
