Travis Davis

FUNERAL SERVICE:  2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL:  Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. VISITATION:  No formal visitation is scheduled.   Travis Davis, age 77, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020, in Comanche, Texas. He was born on March 14, 1942, in Warren, Arkansas, to Henry Travis and Ruby Marie (Hamlin) Davis.  On December 26, 1966, he was united in marriage to Brenda Joyce Pendleton, in Kaufman, Texas.  Travis was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He was a retired retail sales representative. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Brenda J. Davis; son, Kelly Gene Davis and wife Amber; grandchildren, Zachary Travis Davis, Brianne Kathleen Davis and Collin Russell Davis; sisters, Janet Harrison and husband Joe, and Patricia Jackson and husband Danny; and numerous nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Travis and Ruby Marie Davis; sister, Selma Fay Lemeke; and nephew, James Dale Hodge.
