MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 9, 2013, at White Point Cemetery in Comanche County. Virginia Phifer Clark, age 71, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013, in Brownwood, Texas. She was born on April 22, 1941, in Gorman, Texas, to Arthur J. and Golda (McEntire) Phifer. She was united in marriage to Johnny B. Clark forty-two years ago in Oklahoma. Virginia was an Antique Dealer and, with her husband Johnny, owned and operated “This Ole House Antiques” in Comanche. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Johnny B. Clark of Comanche; two sons, James Alan Clark of Texas and Jason Clark and wife Jennifer of Pflugerville; daughter, Suzan King and husband James of Comanche; two grandchildren, Justin V. Clark of Pflugerville, and Kaitlyn King of Comanche; brother Wayne Phifer and wife Virginia of Sidney; nephew, Stanley Phifer of Farmersville; and niece, Kristy Lee of Mt. Vernon, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Golda Phifer.
